Students are a group of people of society that spends more than a decade of their lives as flaneurs in scavenging the profound knowledge of life. It is not a matter of discourse that our lives are merely books, a journey that we would be taken by ourselves; we are the drivers of our own destiny that we want to forsake.

Our lives have always been about reaching the individual goals that will later benefit us as a society. This does include such decisions related to our own self-development to be the person we so desire to be. The education system of a country should never neglect students' choices in their lives. Such pupils have the right to give such freedom to spread their wings of talents and passion.

Currently, this topic has been a matter of debate where more people have been divided with their own thoughts and adamant with their stance. This has caused students, the stakeholders to be affected contributing towards the impediment of the youth to grow and be the so call advancers of society. Leaders and politicians; ones who are in the control of a nation are oblivious to the wise choice of allowing students’ freedom in choosing their own subjects of what they are passionate of to study.

This is due to the vehemence of them with the views of the mediocre. The world is revolving around innovation and it is time to change for the better. I think it is quite wise for me to reason and explain my apologia to advocate my stance of students’ rights to choose their subjects.

My firm belief for students to choose their own subjects to learn is that the passion of someone drives more of them towards a goal than by somewhat forcing them. Every individual has their wants and loathed actions. A student always wants something that would improve their passion and let them grow as the person they so want to. Creativity should be allowed and passion should be freed without them students would easily lose attention and interest in class; students take in teachings that they believe would not benefit them any time in the future.

This freedom, given towards students to pick the subjects of their liking would allow them to instigate their own journey to develop what intrigues them with grit and full enforced passion rather than soulless robots as their life vocation. This would deliberately benefit us as a country to be supplied with a ubiquitous donnish-like society that is driven with passion and wanting to improve.

Vividly shown by the Finnish government in which their education is based upon students' character and dreams visa-a-vis to forcing a strict syllabus. This has allowed them to be one of the best education systems in the world with the genesis of such highly-educated youth; merely shown by the youngest prime minister in history.

Another point to further support my stance is that freedom of choosing their line of subjects would develop are a better group of workers and leaders. The constantly developing world is changing the job market and needs to develop our country; take Industrial Revolution 4.0 for an example that would give birth towards a world economy that mainly focuses on data-based advancement. This is a major conundrum for our flawed and forceful schooling structure.

The ever-changing global circumstance has required us to be supplied with problem solvers, idea bringers, and profound leaders. An education institution that is based upon one's passion would allow us to achieve such requirements. How? Oprah Winfrey once said “Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you” The quote really states the energy that passions bring towards an individual.

The state of a student to choose their own line of subjects based upon their own ardor would drive students to ever expand their talent and knowledge in becoming experts and leaders of the field they are so passionate about. They would scavenge as best to achieve and learn the most to not only be at best in their profession but also in becoming problem solvers in solving most conundrums that will appear related to their field.

Furthermore, students will be in a state of sophrosyne where they would learn in line with things that they are curiosity is aroused about. The state of giving students the ability to pick their own designated subjects based upon their self-interest would decrease such backlash and disrespect towards the teachers. Family doctors had done an analysis for the past decade and an epiphany emerged where they figured out the reason for the rise of undisciplined kids; the ever stressful and forceful education system.

No man is ever jaunty being pushed to do tasks beyond their own interest. Teenagers are very well known for their problematic behavior of being rebellious and quite vehement with their views and interest. The current education system which is clearly impeding students’ passion and possible abilities has caused such a stressful manner instilled in students. The youth today is well aware of the current status of the job market and the fact that the mediocre education system is not undergone any change really enrages them. Plus being forcefully taught subjects is profoundly the reason for such undisciplined students to be present in classrooms.

The permission of giving them such grounds of freedom would avoid such possibilities of a conundrum like this to be present. Students would be jubilant to be given a chance to develop their future and learn the very knowledge that so fuels their quest in the profession they desire. Thus, allow such a conducive environment in class to be able to exist with an efficient system in educating the future leaders of tomorrow.

Lastly, the reason for my advocation for the rights for students to choose their subjects is because they are very well matured enough to be given such rights. We need to allow students to pick and learn beyond these limits that we set for them. The system should not hold them back, they are well mature to know the subjects they want to proceed in life as a job they would like to contribute to. One might say the internal conflict of teenagers is most likely shows the inability for students to pick their subjects wisely.

Let me tell you this, the one who does not should abnegate the right to choose for others, if one is having conflict with oneself then the counselor and stick with the old format but the one who determined of their future should be given such freedom. We could see countries like Sweden and Finland to name a few have been aware of the vast expansion of maturity growth in the youth of today. They learn at a very fast rate compared to the old ways of forcing strict syllabus, restricting students growth as a profound flaneur; arise of thousands of young leaders and unicorns shows the efficiency of this new format and maturity with the addition of the ability for youth to pick their own subjects in the academical syllabus.

Concluding my points, it is very well vivid that giving students the freedom to pick the subjects they are so passionate about is a wise decision in allowing not only the development of students at an individual level but also at the state level development.

The old education system had served its purpose in instilling the basis of knowledge to our predecessors but it’s the time for a change; such ignorance to abide by innovation would lead towards disastrous results in developing the society and country as the mediocre format is precarious for the future generations. Inferring my whole apologia, it does prove that my support for students to be allowed to choose the subjects that they want to study is beneficial and should be advocated.
